Can you replace touchscreen with a none touch screen?

This week I have a customer with 2 HP laptops which were purchased at around $1200 each. Both touchscreens of course and cracked. HP quote was around $750 / screen add $140 in labor, and you are close to a paying for a new laptop.
So my customer decided to remove the touch and keep the fame only, the machines are still usable but don’t look as nice.
