One of the sleekest laptops ever made, as usual apple did it again and they made something out of the ordinary. My only take on the Apple Macbook Air is the fragility. It is a very sensitive laptop especially on the screen end.
I purchased one back in 2011 when it was first released, but didn’t do the job for me as I am a very heavy computer user and I restart my laptop once every month or 2 (unless I have to). At the time the first Apple Macbook Air 13″ had an issue with its screen hinges, they were getting damaged over a short period of time. This has improved in the later models 
and I have not seen a broken hinge in a very long time.
However, I have seen many broken screens on these devices. It is a normal practice to have a very thin screen in a very light device.
Would I buy one again? Maybe not due to my kind of work that require lots of processing power and memory. I do drive a Macbook Pro i7 with 16GB to keep up with my needs. But if your work environment does not require hardcore processing and you work from an office, light device would be very nice. Despite the lack of ports which will lead you to use a USB or some sort of external hub.
