DELL Inspiron 13 Touch Screen Repair
The DELL Inspiron 13 7368 5378 7378 laptop was released in touch screen model only.
The entry level touch screen laptop released in 2 resolutions FULL HD 1920 x 1080 (FHD) and high definition 1366 x 768 (HD).
Replacing the screen on this laptop ca be both complicated and easy, depending on which part you purchase.
I note that there are 2 different bezel for the touch screen, one has round bottom corners, another has sharp bottom corners, they are not interchangeable and you will have to make sure you order the correct one if you go DIY path.
Another point to consider before pressing the “add to cart” button, is do I buy the screen with frame or without. Replacing the touch screen with frame difficulty is 5/10, replacing the touch screen without frame difficulty is 9/10, so this is really no very difficult decision. After doing the obvious, disconnect power, battery and discharge laptop:
1- Using a guitar pick tool or spudger, separate the screen frame from the LCD back cover on the dell Inspiron 13 7368 5378 7378.
2- Tilt screen towards the keyboard
3- Disconnect LCD cable from screen, unscrew the touch board and un-stick the camera board.
4- Remove the cracked screen and install the new screen, reverse all you did
5- Test and make sure your screen and touch are working correctly, and clip screen frame to back cover
